Here's some links on reviews of the Nokia N900;
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/...-n900-en.shtml http://www.slashgear.com/nokia-n900-hands-on-0254743/ http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n900-2917.php Practically is there really a market for MID's ? I don't see the general public warming up to these devices.Can you really image monsters like this in your pocket ? What say guys? |

Even if Nokia is trying to copy the success of iPhone, i think they are failed in reproducing some important UI functionality and hardware/software balance.
Why can't it have an OS level onscreen keyboard instead of sliding keypad? Why to waste money (any extra hardware like keypad adds up to the cost -- per device), and compromise on thickness and reliability(because of keyboard moving parts)? The huge display has to be utilized in this way. Nokia need a rethinking on design strategy. I understand that Nokia's marketting success is proportional to the features the phone has. But that is not a justification for poor design. |
