Best PHP Framework??

I have been working on a project since two months. I'm using Yii Framework for development. So far it seem to be very good for me. I have never tried other frameworks.

Have you used any other? Which one is your favorite & why?

Just keen to know.

Among PHP Frameworks, I have tried Symphony, CodeIgniter and Yii. All have their own advantages.

Symphony: Good community support. Full fledged. PEAR based. Heavy.
CodeIgniter: Light Weight, ActiveRecord support is minimal. Good number of supporting plugins. Not a complete web stack. Faster. Good Community
Yii - Just loved it :-) Good for lazy people.

But if you are developing a community based application register-create content-comment-rate-review type of usecases, you can look for modifications in scripts like WordPress, phpBB, Joomla etc. it may take less time to develop.

I used Yii for a while.
There are so many things which are not documented properly.
I tried asking on the forum, they take ages to reply & didn't get any proper solution also!

It might be tough for someone like who just started using a framework. So, now I switched to django (Python Framework) & things are going fine till now. One big advantage with django is, it's easy to find solution on web since it's being used extensively all over web & the other is I have django experts around me to help me out if I get stuck!

I said only about PHP frameworks. I liked Yii only because it is entirely different from most other PHP frameworks - not because of documentation/Samplecode/support.

If you were ok with changing the scripting language, I would say it is a pretty good decision to go with Django - especially in community support and productivity stand point. I havn't used it extensovely but enough to understand it can boost the speed of development
